Best Bites from Euphoria 2014

Euphoria came to the South Carolina foothills yet again last week, and we were there to experience it. This music and food festival has become an Upstate tradition, filling Greenville’s gorgeous downtown with all the foodies it can handle, along with some of the finest regional culinary talent.

Per usual, we ate and drank our way through the long weekend, so here’s our take for our favorite bites:

  • Border Springs Farm (Virginia) Roasted Lamb Slider with tzaziki Cooking Demonstrations
  • Roasted Leg of Lamb, Smoked Lamb Ribs, Merguez Sausage with BBQ Chick Peas, Roasted and Fried Okra, Spiced Tomato Gravy, Cojita Cheese, Roasted and Sliced Eggplant and Eggplant Caponata from Chef Kevin Johnson of The Grocery(Charleston, SC) Guest Chef Dinner at Rick’s Deli and Market
  • Salted Caramel Panna Cotta with White Chocolate Ganache, Whipped Cream, and Peanut Brittle (The Lazy Goat, Greenville, SC) Taste of the South
  • Chef Nate Whiting’s (soon-to-be-opened 492 King, Charleston) Candied Pork and Kale Truffle with Preserved Lemon and Malt Taste of the South
