FAIR-WEATHER BEER FANS NEED NOT APPLY

Over recent years, craft beer has steadily gained popularity. The once small fan base has morphed into national appreciation. People are crazy about small-batches, attention to detail, and local seasonal flavors in their brew. Festivities and celebrations abound over this frothy elixir, but nothing quite compares to the 3rd Annual BrewMasters Craft Beer Festival in Galveston, Texas this weekend.

This is not an ordinary brew fest. Over 400—yes, you read that right—craft beers will be available for tasting beginning today and lasting through the weekend. Each beer is its own unique blend of craftsmanship, and the creators behind these sudsy delights will be present.  Ask these brewmasters, as well as industry experts, everything you want to know about beer and the secrets behind your favorite suds.

The multi-day festival includes a variety of innovative events: Texas Brewery Tasting Tour, BrewMasters PubCrawl, and Brew Stars and Gars’ Craft Beer and Cigar Pairing Dinner, among others. In addition, there will be beer and food seminars, dinners featuring prominent chefs, educational events, and even a Brews, Boots & BBQ on Sunday, September 2nd.

Tickets for all the events covering the three-day festival can be found at their website, as well as a preliminary list of beers and more information. One eager fan commented that his “life depended on going to this event.” We think that says it all—Craft Beer Fanatics, we’ll see you there.
