Chef Braden Wages and his wife Yasmin of Dallas’ Malai Kitchen have a shared love for Southeast Asian cuisine, which they have cultivated through extensive travels to Vietnam and Thailand. In our April “Southern Fusion” issue, we call on Chef Wages for his expertise in cooking with lemongrass. Here he shares a recipe that utilizes other Asian staples: coconut, rice, and mango. He even throws in a childhood classic, rice crispy treats. Southern fusion? Yes. Delicious? You bet!
