Come Celebrate The First Flush Festival with The Local Palate this Sunday, May 20th at The Charleston Tea Plantation on Wadmalaw. The oldest tea plantation in the country and the only United States tea plantation still operating, first flush celebrates the first cutting of the leaves, making it the strongest, most flavorful batch of the season.

Enjoy the view of the stage this weekend at Charleston Tea Plantation’s First Flush Festival, with a Club Member’s custom picnic basket. Filled with regional specialties and savory snacks from Caviar & Bananas, The Local Palate will be bringing the gourmet market to the lawn exclusively for our club members.

All baskets are $25, feed two people, and will be available for pick up at the TLP booth at the festival.

    Charcuterie, housemade pickles, vegetables with pimento ranch dip, mixed olives, mixed nuts, and crostini
  • Lowcountry Snack Box
    Sweet potato ham biscuits, eight layer salad, vegetable crudite, pimento chips, pickles, candied pecans, and benne seed wafers
  • Ball Park Snack Box
    Holy City Pluff Mud Porter Beer Cheese Mustard, pretzel bites, truffle butter pop corn, spiced nuts, home made potato chips with roasted onion dip
