Our recent VIP SIP Experience at Euphoria featured moonshine cocktails from Dark Corner Distillery, and mixologist Whitney Vadeboncoeur really impressed me with some cocktails that were balanced enough to drink before noon. Seriously. We were drinking moonshine at 11 a.m.
But I digress …
One of her secret ingredients was this infused syrup. We’ll share a cocktail using this syrup Friday on the blog, but don’t think that it is only good for cocktails. Use it to soak pound cake, flavor coffee, mix in your milkshake, or even to marinate beef tips before a quick sear! I suggest using local honey (of course), and I prefer the ones with a darker color and a good bit of piney flavor for this particular concoction.
And for those of you more organized than I—wouldn’t this be a nice gift in a pretty bottle during the holiday season?
