Are you tired of the traditional side dishes at your family’s table this holiday? All of us can feel weary once we eye that green bean casserole … again.

Our suggestion: mix it up! Side dishes are often the stars of the table this time of year, and we know that the following send us back for seconds. If you’re looking for easy, why not a veggie dip for a fresh twist? Or if you crave a little dash of the exotic, why not a dish that is garnished with fresh curry leaves? Whichever you choose, there will not be a can of cream of mushroom soup in sight.

Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Pears

Ben Moïse’s Vegetable Dip

Buttermilk Marinated Fennel with Satsumas and Jalapeños

Creamed Corn

Oven Roasted Heirloom Pumpkin with Calabrian Chilies, Fresh Curry Leaves, and Sorghum Vinaigrette
