Cooking with kids is a fun way to pass along a love of cooking, even if you make a bit mess in the kitchen along the way. Finding a recipe that appeals to both little kids and the big kid inside us can be a challenge. Enter Chef Micki Kimberly of Restaurant Eugene in Atlanta, Georgia. Chef Kimberly created a recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles that’s perfect for the little ones, since there is no baking involved, just lots of hands-on scooping and rolling. In addition, the recipe doesn’t contain eggs, so kids of all ages — including any parents who still like to sneak a handful of cookie dough — can eat the resulting truffles without worry.
