Tax day. We hope that you are like 70 percent of Americans who will receive a return this year, and if you are, then we can’t think of many things better to splurge on than a meal. A meal can be more than just food—it can be an experience, and one you share with people around the table, as well as the server, staff, and chef. When all of these elements come together, a splurge is totally worth it. Live a little.

We partnered with Flights.com to bring you this list of Southern “splurge eats” worthy of your hard-earned tax return dollars. They are places to drop a pretty penny, but without an ounce of remorse.
