While I serve this dish as a dessert, it is not extremely sweet and as a result can be used as a great brunch item to surprise your mother (or mother of your children) with breakfast in bed! Using fresh lemon juice and local strawberries and honey is preferred, not only to support your local community but also to ensure bold flavors from each ingredient. Most importantly, have fun while making this dish!
