It is officially the Hollywood awards season. The Academy Award nominees were announced this week, and the list is packed with inspiring choices, but to me, they are missing a whole category of nominees—the food awards.

Looking back at the year, I am still pining for the grilled cheese made by Jon Favreau in Chef. And the omelet made by Manish Dayal in The Hundred Food Journey gave me a whole new respect for this French classic.

Embrace Hollywood this weekend with a Sunday Supper worthy of the big screen. Cure your grilled cheese craving with the St. James Gruyère and Caramelized Onion Sandwich from the St. James Cheese Company in New Orleans served with a Cauliflower and Leek Soup. Pair them with the Madison Avenue, a champagne cocktail, because it is awards season after all.
