Ingredients

8-10 cups water, divided

5 Earl Grey tea bags

Simple syrup, to taste (sugar dissolved in equal parts warm water then cooled)

8-10 cups orange juice

Garnish with orange or favorite citrus wedges

Directions

  1. For tea, bring 6−7 cups water to a rolling boil.
  2. Add tea bags and remove from heat. Let bags steep for about 5 minutes, near the warm eye on the stove.
  3. Combine simple syrup and steeped tea in a large pitcher.
  4. Fill the pot with the tea bags with the remaining water and then add the water to the pitcher. Stir.
  5. Add orange juice and stir. Pour over ice and garnish with citrus wedges.
