Cranberry Sauce with Golden Raisins

Makes about 2 quarts

    Ingredients
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups golden raisins
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Sachet of 5 cloves
  • 5 allspice berries
  • 5 juniper berries
  • Peel from ½ orange
steps
  1. In a separate saucepan, bring raisins, wine, orange juice, 1 cup water, and sachet to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes.
  3. Drain raisins and combine with cranberry sauce.
