- Preheat oven 350 degrees.
- Brown the sausage in a large skillet until cooked through. Add tomato paste and cook for two minutes.
- Add the cream cheese, 6 ounces of cheddar cheese to the sausage mixture and stir until melted. Add the tomatoes and blend.
- Pour mixture into a Pyrex dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese. Bake the dish in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 15 minutes. Top with chives and serve with chips.
