5 O’Clock Somewhere Friday: Tequila Toddy

Spring is coming, but for a lot of us, it’s coming in fits and starts. Spring one day, winter the next, which can make it feel colder. For that, Jayce McConnell of Charleston’s Edmund’s Oast prescribes a Tequila Toddy. Red with rooibos and layered with flavor, this drink has a lot going on. Don’t try to figure out how it tastes, just make it. (Trust us, it tastes good.) Jayce takes tequila beyond, way beyond, the margarita, an idea we have long warmed up to.
