The Virginina Wine Board coordinated an event to celebrate Virginia being named the “Food Region of the Year – 2014” by Esquire Magazine. The party was held at Rappahanock Restaurant, in downtown Richmond, which was named one of the best new restaurants. On hand for the event were Govenor Terry McAuliffe and his wife Dorothy, as well as representatives of various food producers in the state.
