A Week of Whiskey

We have an extensive recipe archive here at TLP, but it can get a little overwhelming at times if you’re attempting to plan a menu. So we have put together a Sunday supper to help get you started. Shop today and enjoy cooking tomorrow!

This week The Local Palate co-hosted Whiskey After Dark, a whiskey sampling event in Charleston, South Carolina. If you were lucky enough to attend, you were able to taste some of the best whiskey from around the world, so in homage to that event, this week’s Sunday Supper is a lovely accompaniment to whiskey.

Begin with a classic cocktail alongside spicy cheese straws, follow it up with hearty short ribs with creamy polenta ,and then use your last swirl of whiskey to wash down a slice of rich red velvet cake. Good to the last drop.
