If you polled Southerners are about their favorite foods, classics like fried chicken, burgers, and bourbon would surely be near the top of the list. Chef Woody Back of Table & Main in Roswell, Georgia specializes in Southern cuisine, and he’s become known around Atlanta for serving some of the best fried chicken and burgers around. While Chef Back takes care of the back of the house, owner and operator Ryan Pernice and General Manager Cindy Miller are in control up front, developing a bar program that includes an outstanding bourbon collection. Table & Main pours more than 50 bourbons, ryes, and whiskies, including a maple syrup-infused whiskey named Cabin Fever Whiskey. Cindy developed a cocktail that adds Cabin Fever to coffee and Bailey’s to give the old standard a tasty, cold weather makeover, then tops the tasty coffee concoction with a dollop of whiskey-whipped cream for an added punch.
