At Gunshow in Atlanta, dining decisions aren’t made from a menu. They’re made dish-by-dish as the chefs present each offering to the tables, coming in and out of the kitchen in an interactive way that creates a dining experience instead of just a meal. However, it gets even better. Now, dishes aren’t the only items presented tableside at Gunshow. Prepare yourself for the cocktail cart.
“The Cocktail Cart is an extension of the kitchen. We thought it would be fun to have drinks mixed to order, using juices and ingredients from our kitchen,” says Kevin Gillespie, chef and owner.
As guests are seated, they’re greeted with a choice of two different cocktails. Each week, the cocktails will change to complement the restaurant’s menu. For example, a spicier menu may call for a smoked old-fashioned with Belle Meade whiskey, flamed cinnamon stick, and orange oil, while a menu with more green vegetables may suggest a lighter gin cocktail.
We suggest just getting yourself to Gunshow. The chefs and carts will take care of the rest.
