
Chris Dudley is the new Managing Editor of The Local Palate, effective with the publication of the November 2014 issue.
A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, he has worked as an editor for Gourmet, TimeOut New York, Cook’s Illustrated, and Cook’s Country. His freelance work includes pieces for GQ.com and AOL’s slashfood.com. He was also featured in the America’s Test Kitchen DIY Cookbook.
Originally from rural West Tennessee, he now resides in Charleston, South Carolina, the publication’s home office. “I’m happy to be part of the team at The Local Palate and look forward to expressing my passion for Southern cuisine,” he says.
The magazine welcomes Chris into this new role and looks forward to growing the magazine with him.
