Frozen Drinks with a Kick

When the weekend rolls around, it is time for us big kids to take a break and get a bit of summer relaxation. Iced coffee and root beer floats are a fantastic way to cool off but imagine sitting by the pool with a frosty glass of Frozen Irish Coffee or a Jagermeister Root Beer Float. That is serious summer relaxation.

The Frozen Irish Coffee was created at Prohibition in Charleston by  head bartender, Jim McCourt. Jim hails from Northern Ireland, but moved stateside when he was 21. This heritage combined with an expertise in all things whiskey led Jim to create a delicious frozen Irish coffee cocktail. It’s the perfect way to cool off from the summer heat and humidity.

Looking for something fruity? Try the Fat and Juicy Margarita Granita or Roseto Julep!
