Gourmet and Grapes

Gourmet & Grapes couples local and regional culinary talent with award-winning wineries at the beautiful Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Highlights of the weekend include Gourmet & Grain, a barbecue and bourbon mashup with tunes by the Bluestone Ramblers; a New Orleans dinner takeover by the Link Restaurant Group at the Ocean Room; and a gourmet luncheon by San Antonio, Texas, chef Steve McHugh.

Make sure not to miss the festival’s signature event, the Wine Odyssey Gala, on Saturday evening. Regional chefs will prepare special bites that pair with distinctive wines, while silent and live auctions offer opportunities to bid on fabulous trips, rare bourbons, hard-to-find-wines, and more. It’s all held in the name of supporting cancer research and care. Since its inception in 2009, Gourmet & Grapes has raised more than $2.8 million for cancer research programs at the Medical University of South Carolina’s Hollings Cancer Center.
