A special word from Chris Brown of Holy City Brewing, one of Charleston’s newest breweries.

“The 100th batch brewed at Holy City Brewing! We went all out for this double IPA and used 100 lbs of hops throughout the brewing process. Hops were added during the boil, in the mash, with a hop back, and a massive nineteen-pound dry hop! That’s almost 7lbs per bbl. It comes in at 10%abv with a big malt back bone and aggressive hop bitterness up front. The aroma is floral and earthy.”

This beer is available around town and at the brewery right now for a limited time.

MALT / Pale, Crystal, Carahell.
HOPS / Chinook, Brewer’s Gold, Galena, Summit, Cascade, CTZ, & Warrior.
