There’s no reason to feel forced to gobble up endless amounts of candy corn this Halloween when there are so many ways to satisfy yourself and your party guests with homemade sweet treats. Two favorite fall flavors, pumpkin and pecan, are each used here with a twist. The first recipe is for a spicy pumpkin pie—the addition of candied ginger gives this classic recipe a new layer of flavor to excite palates of all ages. The second recipe takes pecan pie and changes its shape, to make it an easy and convenient party choice.

Happy Halloween!
