This month’s “Key Ingredient” was mint, that friend in the garden that can take it over if left to its own devices. Thankfully, there’s plenty to do with mint in the Southern kitchen, so much so that our test kitchen chef Christina Oxford had “too much fun” creating recipes with it and made more than we could print.
So here’s one more for the road—literally. Hand pies are perfect picnic food.
