Music to Your Mouth!

Music to Your Mouth!
Text by Sydni Hebert / Photo by Jennifer Hitchcock

Spend your week in a breathtaking setting mingling with top chefs and culinary personalities, such as Hugh Acheson & Sean Brock, visiting with vintners and brewers, and learning from farmers and artisans from all over the country. The Music to Your Mouth Team and Palmetto Bluff Community have gathered the best tastes, tunes, and tonics in the South. All that’s missing is you!

A Hidden Happy Hour and Sponsor Soiree on Tuesday, November 13th will kickoff the official start of the Music to Your Mouth Festival. The festival, hosted by Audi of America, will take place at Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina and will run until Sunday, November 18th. Guests will indulge in a complete sensory experience as they partake in their choice of scheduled events throughout the festival. Even though some events are sold out, there are still a good number of tickets on sale- so get yours while you can.

The 2012 MTYM event schedule is mouth watering. On tap- a Ladies Night Dinner featuring fabulous female chefs and winemakers, the return of the Potlikker Block Party in partnership with Southern Foodways Alliance, two Food of Place Cooking Classes, a little Tailgating with Audi for our Whole Hog guests, and a Beer Garden and What’s Shakin’ Bacon Forest tops off the Saturday Festival festivities. That’s right, a bacon forest. Richard Best Custom Homes is making all your dreams come true by not only sponsoring the Beer Garden, but the Bacon Forest, too. Rumor has it that if you make a wish on the bacon tree, a whole hog of dreams will come true!

Also new to the festival this year is The Audi Driving Experience. Both Palmetto Bluff members and MTYM guests will have the opportunity to test-drive several Audi models within the Palmetto Bluff Community during the week. Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines!
