Recovering from Thanksgiving

A week after the Thanksgiving holiday and I am still constantly hungry. Too much of a good thing has left me ruined and in the mood for some serious comfort food. Comfort food can mean a lot of different things to different people but to me, it means fried chicken and pimento cheese.

Make a big batch of pimento cheese and eat some for dinner and save the rest for your favorite holiday host. Have you checked our Edible Hostess Guide? For a main course, try Chef Justin Staggers fried chicken marinated in a mixture of hot pepper and dill pickle juice that gives the chicken a delicious hint of hot and sour. And finish with a cider pound cake.
