Paramour Bar opened in 2015 as the first roof top bar to grace the skyline in San Antonio, Texas. Beverage Director Chris Ware leads a brigade of bartenders creating some of the most creative and tasty craft cocktails in town. With an expansive list of 59 gins, more than 80 tequilas and more than 140 bourbons, we asked Chris to share a recipe for one of his favorite cocktails, and he gave us River Oaks Trash. “This fun cocktail is taking ingredients that normally would not be together and mixing them with ingredients that are usually stand alone into the classic, peasant-style cocktail. To play on this I named the cocktail after one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Texas. The flavors all pop individually with the Vouvray, drying the cocktail out for that awe moment,” Chris explains.
