Sunday Supper: Your Sweetie Will Swoon over Short Ribs

There are a couple of reasons to perhaps treat yourself and someone special to a decadent meal this weekend:

  1.  It’s Valentine’s Day and if you don’t already have a menu in mind, then this one is very doable.
  2. Next week marks the beginning of Lent, and if you are planning on giving up red meat, chocolate or alcohol then it’s time to indulge a bit.

Braised in sherry from Chef Vlad Ahmadyarov of The Grill Room at The Windsor Court Hotel, short ribs make a great beginning to any festive meal. Finish with a rich Caramel Chocolate Turtle Tart and wash them both down with a bourbon cocktail aptly named Love Holiday.
