My garden usually tells me of the changing season before I hear it from the weather report. The tomatoes are leggy and the yellowing summer squash and zucchini plants are working hard to produce the last of their crop. Summer is giving us all one last push to have a great meal, and we have found some of the best recipes in our arsenal to make the most of this opportunity.
Summer squash is versatile enough to be paired with almost anything and can be prepared in a multitude of ways. Pluck your squash from the vine or grab them from the farmers market and get cooking.
Celebrate the sunset.
