FRIDAY 5PM / Presented by Sysco Rich with history, the Southern food landscape is the result of colliding cultures. With cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres inspired by Southern staples, the Gallery speaks to the foodstuffs that create the fabric of this culture.

SATURDAY 11AM-12.15PM / Presented by Southern Bi-Coastal Representing the 2009 James Beard Award class for Best Chef South and Best Chef Southeast, John Currence and Mike Lata unite on Rainbow Island. This intimate culinary class, hosted by two patriarchs of the southern food movement, will highlight products pulled from Southern waters, the Atlantic and the Gulf, and feature the “Pole to Plate” philosophy as espoused by both award-winning chefs. All hands on deck.
SATURDAY, GATES OPEN AT 6PM / Present by SunTrust It’s all about brothers from the South—the opening act is the Wood Brothers, a high-energy Nashville-based Americana/Blues band. Headlining the concert is the Avett Brothers, a Grammy nominated alt/country act from North Carolina with traditional folk and bluegrass influences.
