Photo by Beth Kirby Serves1 Glass from Chef Aaron Deal, The River and Rail, Roanoke, Virginia Ingredients 4-6 cherries, pitted (reserving one for garnish)1½ ounces gin¾ ounce simple syrup¾ ounce fresh lime juice½ ounce Luxardo Maraschino liqueurSoda water, to top Directions Fill a tall cocktail glass with ice. Set aside. In cocktail shaker muddle the fresh cherries. Next add all ingredients except soda water. Shake thoroughly and strain into glass with ice. Garnish with a fresh cherry.
