Milk Punch

Ingredients

For nutmeg syrup

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

2 tablespoons freshly ground nutmeg

For the punch

1 750 ml bottle Appleton rum or Wild Turkey rye

1 cup Frangelico

8 cups whole milk

1 cup cold coffee

Directions

  1. Make the syrup: Combine water, sugar, and nutmeg in saucepan. Simmer over low heat until sugar dissolves. Cool and strain solids.
  2. Combine syrup and remaining ingredients in punch bowl. Chill with a block of ice and serve in small punch cups
