Photo by Denny Culbert Serves1 drink from Neal Bodenheimer of CURE in New Orleans, LA Ingredients 1 whole egg1 ounces Bittermens New Orleans Coffee Liqueur1 ounces Cathead Chicory Liqueur¼ ounces Rich Demerara Syrup (2 Parts sugar & 1 part water, melted over medium low heat)7 drops Bittermens New Orleans Coffee Bitters1 lemon peel3 grates of whole nutmeg Directions Crack one whole egg. Dry shake for 20 seconds. Add liquid ingredients and shake 20 times. Double strain into a 6 ounce Delmonico glass. Grate nutmeg on top. Express lemon peel (firm twist) about 5 inches above the glass to shower the lemon oil over the entire glass.
