Join the South’s leading chefs, artists, makers, and musicians for a four-day celebration of Southern food and art in Midtown Atlanta! Gather ‘round, October 14 through 17, brings the region’s flavors and culinary diversity to the recently opened Epicurean Atlanta, a hotel committed to curating a memorable culinary experience for every guest.
Between the hotel’s Epicurean Theatre and 1-acre rooftop terrace, the space is uniquely positioned to host events that allow foodies to connect with the South’s culinary leaders. Through an immersive series of signature events, masterclasses held in Epicurean Theatre, and collaborative, chef-driven dinners, Gather ‘round offers attendees an intimate setting to learn, share, and dine with chefs, artists, and musicians.
Keep your eye on Gather ‘round’s schedule of events for opportunities, like a lunch and learn that uses global spices to chicken dishes; a panel with black cookbook authors discussing the African-American diaspora’s impact on Southern-style comfort foods; and a collaborative dinner with chefs Nick Leahy, Michael Gulotta, and Shai Fargian dedicated to celebrating sustainably sourced fish and all-natural chicken (Fish and Fowl).
The Local Palate is thrilled to partner with Gather ‘round to present the master classes held at Epicurean Theatre. The events draw inspiration from the magazine’s brand and are themed after columns, like Nourish, the Riff, Roots, Snapshot, and Culinary Class.
A ticket package for the event is available and includes admission to the four signature events, seven master classes, and eight collaborative dinners. Additionally, tickets are also available by individual events. Tickets for Gather ‘round are per event and available through the event website.
