Join the Local Palate and Southern Food and Beverage Museum as we kick off a series to honor the culinary heritage of the South through its establishments and traditions.
For the first installment, we head to Nashville, home to dozens of local spots that have contributed to the region’s foodways and some of the most recognizable Southern dishes we know today—think Loveless Café, Prince’s Hot Chicken, and Bobbie’s Dairy Dip. Together, TLP and SoFAB will celebrate these historic restaurants and more with the help of some of the city’s top chefs at Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery. Join Karl Worley of Biscuit Love, chefs of Henrietta Red, Pat Martin of Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint, Margot McCormack of Margot Café & Bar, Mee McCormick of Pinewood Kitchen, Praveen Pedanker of Chaatable, and Chris Carter of Porter Road who will each be spinning their versions of the city’s most iconic dishes. Whet your whistle with Nelson’s Green Brier whiskey and Blackberry Farm Brewery beers. And bonus: Goo Goo Clusters will be serving up their own tasty treats.Get Tickets
