The Local Palate is seeking a part-time e-commerce marketing and SEO intern to assist the e-commerce department in the daily marketing and SEO operations of the Local Palate Marketplace. The candidate must be passionate about Southern made products and small businesses and have an interest in internet marketing. The desire to develop skills while creating relevant content for TLP’s Marketplace is a must. The candidate must also have strong writing and editing skills and will learn how to implement best SEO practices in their writing.
Responsibilities include writing blogs, writing product and vendor descriptions, and helping develop the overall marketing and SEO strategy for the Marketplace. This is a great opportunity to learn about internet marketing, the importance of SEO, and how to create effective marketing campaigns to grow an online business. The intern will report directly to the E-Commerce Engagement Manager. The intern will be expected to commit to 12 to 15 hours per week.
