Editorial Internship—Print

The Local Palate seeks an editorial intern to assist the editorial department for the fall 2022 semester, beginning August 29. Interns will support various projects, including researching, fact checking, and compiling in-house copy, in addition to gaining overall exposure to the magazine publishing process. Interns should have top-notch research, communication, and writing skills, as well as a strong knowledge of grammar and punctuation, meticulous attention to detail, exposure to AP style, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Students should be attending, or recently graduated from, a four-year college or university, have journalism experience, and be passionate about the South and its rich food culture. Interns will be expected to commit to twelve to fifteen hours per week.
