The Local Palate magazine seeks an intern to work in the editorial department for the spring 2020 semester. Editorial interns assist with various projects, including researching and fact checking, and will have the opportunity to learn about the overall magazine publishing process. Interns should have top-notch research, communication, and writing skills, as well as a strong knowledge of grammar and punctuation, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. Our ideal intern has journalism experience and is passionate about the South and its food culture. The intern will be expected to work 12 to 15 hours/week.
