Undeniably chic and expertly curated, Lucian Books and Wine has been garnering accolades for impeccable taste since they opened their doors in Atlanta. Partners Katie Barringer and Jordan Smelt have harnessed the trifecta of life’s greatest pleasures—food, wine, and books—into a singular sensory setting. Barringer manages hospitality and title curation while Smelt oversees the wine program. Devised with wine in mind, chef Jason Paolini crafts a menu that ranges from wine bar essentials to exquisite and surprising seasonal dishes. 

As Barringer and Smelt prepare to open their second concept, Sargent, we sat down with them to hear about some of their favorite ways to savor food, wine, and words.
