Ingredients

1½ ounces bourbon

½ ounce Velvet Falernum

½ ounce fresh lime juice

½ ounce 1:1 ginger-infused simple syrup 

Grains of paradise for garnish*

Related to cardamom and ginger, this West African spice gives a pungent peppery taste with a hint of citrus and ginger flavors.

Directions

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over fresh ice into old-fashioned glass. Garnish with pinch of grains of paradise.
