The Apple Barn & Cider Mill and Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant: Situated on a working apple orchard, The Apple Barn & Cider Mill is known for its apple treats. It offers a range from fresh baked breads and wines to candies and their famous apple butter. Each fall, they use 7½ tons of apples per week to create their fresh pressed cider. Additionally, stop by for a seasonal sip and stick around for a hearty meal here. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, all meals begin with a complimentary serving of Applewood fritters, apple butter, and Applewood Julep.

Flapjacks Pancake Cabin: Another spot that stacks up to the competition. With richly flavored seasonal menu items and year-round favorites like sticky bun pancakes, this restaurant’s menu is packed with the stuff vacation breakfast dreams are made of. Enjoy the sweeter options or go for hash browns, cat head biscuits, eggs, and sausage gravy in the Walker’s Cabin Skillet.

Trotter’s Whole Hog BBQ: At Sevierville’s newest restaurant, it’s all smoke and beers. Helmed by chef David Rule, the Sevierville restaurant features locally sourced hogs smoked daily in a large fire pit out back. Located in the historic downtown area, the restaurant’s name honors its building’s history as the formerly known home of Trotter’s Motor Company. Certainly, grab a slab of ribs and try out local beers by the ounce from their automated taps.

Downtown Sevierville: In addition to being the home of great restaurants, downtown Sevierville has developed a reputation for holding top quality food and beverage events. From the award-winning Bloomin’ BBQ Music & Food Festival in May to fall’s Bruce Street Brew Fest (October 8, 2022) which welcomes more than forty home and professional brewers. Each Friday beginning in May and going through the month of October, downtown Sevierville is home to a farmer’s market. It is a great place to pick up fresh produce while enjoying the historic area’s shops and eateries.

Five Oaks Farm Kitchen: This Sevierville restaurant serves up plenty of cool weather comfort food. Try the open-faced pot roast, chicken pot pie, or chicken and dumplings then finish the meal with the Window Sill Cobbler or a handmade Farm-Sized Cinnamon Roll along with a glass of ice-cold buttermilk. This farm-themed restaurant is based on the recipes and hospitality of Blanche Ogle, whose farm once occupied the property.
