Thirty-plus performers. Six stages. Two awesome nights.
The Wire and Wood Alpharetta songwriters festival returns October 7 to 8, 2022, for its ninth year in downtown Alpharetta, Georgia. Bring your friends and family for the weekend to experience this free two-day songwriter music festival. Enjoy soulful music flowing through the streets of Downtown Alpharetta. More than thirty local, regional, and national artists will perform original songs on six stages. Listeners will learn about the music as artists share stories behind their songs and interact with the audience. In addition to the music, festival goers can enjoy food and libations from local restaurants.
Friday’s festival headliner features singer and songwriter Samm Henshaw, who was recently showcased on NPR Slingshot’s 2021 Artists to Watch list. Henshaw has also toured with Chance the Rapper and collaborated with Pharrell Williams. International platinum-selling singer, songwriter and seasoned touring artist, Eric Hutchinson, will headline the stage on Saturday. Hutchinson has shared the stage with acts such as Jason Mraz, Amos Lee, Ingrid Michaelson, O.A.R., and Michael Franti. His single “Rock & Roll” earned him his first gold record in the United States and the song became a number one hit in several countries.
