Coopers’ Craft

Crafting great bourbon starts with the barrel. Half of a whiskey’s flavor and all of its color comes from the barrel. Coopers’ Craft raises barrels by hand, then toasts and chars them to bring out the unique characteristics of its bourbon. Coopers’ Craft 82.2 Proof is aged in a traditional American white oak barrel. After aging, the bourbon is removed from the barrels and taken through a beech and birch charcoal-filter finishing process, which smooths the bourbon until the soft oak character is revealed.
