WCSO

The inaugural Lone Star Smokeout is set to take place from May 2-4, 2025, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, offering an exciting weekend of country music and world-class BBQ. Organized by the same team behind the ACM Award-winning Windy City Smokeout in Chicago, this festival promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for both music lovers and BBQ enthusiasts. Whether you're there for the incredible country music, the Texas BBQ, or simply to enjoy a weekend of fun and entertainment, this festival is a must-attend event.

Country music fans are in for a treat: Lone Star Smokeout will feature over 15 of country music’s top artists headlined by Jon Pardi, Cody Jinks, and Midland. The festival will also showcase performances by Randy Rogers Band, DJ Pauly D, Dylan Gossett, Wyatt Flores, Tucker Wetmore, Eli Young Band, Josh Meloy, Tanner Adell, Lauren Watkins, Kaitlin Butts, Grace Tyler, Ian Harrison, JoJo DiSalvo, Catie Offerman, and Kashus Culpepper.

On the BBQ front, the festival will highlight 14 renowned pitmasters from across the country led by James Beard and Michelin-recognized outfits from Texas, providing festival goers with a diverse selection of BBQ styles. Among the North Texas-based pitmasters are Michelin-recommended Panther City BBQ from Fort Worth, Dayne’s Craft Barbeque from Aledo, Hurtado Barbecue from Arlington, The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque from Trophy Club, and Slow Bone BBQ from Dallas. These chefs will serve up some of the most delicious and expertly crafted barbecue in the region, showcasing the best of Texas’ BBQ tradition.

Several acclaimed BBQ names will also return from the Windy City Smokeout, including Panther City BBQ and The Salt Lick BBQ from Driftwood, TX. These popular pitmasters have earned a loyal following for their mouth-watering offerings, and their return to Lone Star Smokeout is sure to be a hit.

In addition to the music and BBQ, Lone Star Smokeout will feature popular retail pop-ups from Tecovas, Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott, Hale House Boutique, and a custom hat bar by Flea Style. Attendees can also enjoy a diverse cocktail and beer program with offerings from Miller Coors, Grey Goose Vodka, Flecha Azul Tequila, Dos Hombres Mezcal, and more.

Lone Star Smokeout offers 1-Day and 3-Day General Admission and Platinum passes. The all-inclusive Platinum ticket includes gourmet dining, top-shelf beverages, private bathrooms, stage pit access, reserved parking, concierge service, and more. 3-Day or Sunday festival goers can purchase tickets for the Bottomless BBQ Brunch on May 4, featuring BBQ from festival pitmasters, a mimosa and bloody mary bar, and live acoustic music.
