Sea to Table Dinner in Islamorada, Florida

Celebrate 200 years of history in Monroe County with a seafood feast

Bud n Mary's Marina in Islamorada, Florida

Celebrate the 200th anniversary of Monroe County, Florida, with an unforgettable evening dedicated to the area’s rich maritime culture. The Sea to Table dinner features a night honoring the working waterfront in Islamorada where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Florida Bay, and it highlights the abundant seafood, fisher people, and coastal artists who make up the rich fabric of Monroe County.

Kick off the evening with a rooftop reception at the top of Bud n’ Mary’s Fishing Marina in Islamorada. Enjoy passed appetizers and live music while overlooking the boats coming into the marina. You can take in the views at golden hour or set out on a tour of Mote Marine Laboratory's Islamorada Coral Nursery

As the event shifts into a Keys-style seafood dinner, local chefs’ masterful preparations put the ocean’s bounty into the spotlight. Over the three courses of the all-local seafood dinner, chefs and local fisherpeople will share the story of Islamorada's deep roots in the seafood industry. Special to the event, local celebrity chef Drew Tsang, as seen on Food Network’s Cut-Throat Kitchen, Man vs. Child, and Chopped, will serve up delicacies from SHIMA and Chef Drew’s Island Catering.

The evening is punctuated by cooking demonstrations, fly fishing and lure exhibitions, Florida Keys trivia, and a silent auction of locally crafted artwork. The Sea to Table dinner culminates in a presentation from world-renowned angling authority George Poveromo.
