Serving as the flagship restaurant for Cary’s premiere mixed-use development, Fenton, Crawford Brothers Steakhouse salutes the timeless American steakhouse, but with a hearty serving of swagger. Chef Scott Crawford is no stranger to the Triangle’s culinary scene, with other Crawford Hospitality concepts including Jolie, Crawford & Son, Sous Terre, Crawford’s Genuine, and Brodeto.

Crawford Brothers Steakhouse is Crawford’s love letter to American grit. The chef is not shy about his love of motorcycles, tattoos, and a playful dose of mischief. The steakhouse embraces this love of the romanticized Americana desperado, with nods to classic films like Good Fellas and The Godfather. Luxe booths curve around dark wooden tables set by single pendants, reminiscent of a moody interrogation room. Their private dining space, fondly labeled “the gangster room,” is housed behind a glass-enclosed dry-ager, and is charged with evasive, exclusive energy.

Patrons are swept up in the action with a direct view into the steakhouse’s cooking suite, surrounded by the slap and sizzle of T-bones in the pan, or the satisfying whir while chefs whip up the house white truffle butter. While Crawford’s menu pays tribute to the traditional American steakhouse, there is an undeniably modern flare in each dish. Begin your evening with a choose-your-own-adventure tableside martini service, and select savory, vesper, or new Alaska. If martinis aren’t your thing, opt for a decadent Vieux Carré with a single barrel rye or browse their extensive wine list. Can’t-miss menu selections include a seafood tower with claws and tails on all sides, duck meatballs with fluffy truffle pecorino, opulent roasted bone marrow, and a caesar salad dressed to the nines. This said, the true crime is walking out of Crawford Brothers without ordering the Porterhouse steak.
