Jungle Bird Tiki

Cape Coral, the greater Fort Myers’ area’s largest neighborhood, is known for its hundreds of miles of freshwater canals. Land-based adventures abound here too. Hike the boardwalk at Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve, shop at Tarpon Point Marina, taste locally brewed beer at one of several taprooms, and more. It’s easy to work up an appetite while exploring everything this neighborhood has to offer. No matter what you’re craving, there’s something on the menu for you here.

Step onto the patio of Jungle Bird Tiki and find yourself transported to another world. Open since 2020, Cape Coral’s first authentic tiki bar sports lush greenery that adorns nearly every surface — even the ceiling — and neon lights and bright colors illuminate the rest of the space. Everything about this restaurant is infused with fun, including the elaborate tiki mugs the signature cocktails are served in. The stellar ambiance is made even better by live music on the patio several nights a week.

Turn your attention to the menu, where you’ll find a unique fusion of Caribbean, Korean and Hawaiian cuisine. The signature veggie potstickers (mushroom, garlic, scallion, house kimchi, and hoisin sauce) will have you licking your fingers, and the Korean beef nachos will have you scraping the bottom of the bowl. Go for another round of cocktails, and don’t skip the aptly named Jungle Bird, made with Blackstrap rum, campari, pineapple, and lime. If booze is your favorite ingredient, order pineapple rum cake for dessert. Come back for Sunday brunch to discover a different menu full of rich, flavorful eats.
