When you grow up as a third-generation family farmer, you tend to look at things a bit differently. That’s why Springer Mountain Farms works exclusively with more than three hundred multi-generational family farmers who live on the land where they raise chickens.
Springer Mountain Farms chickens are humanely raised by farmers who take pride in what they do. Every step of the process was developed by the American Humane Association, along with scientists and veterinarians who understand what is best for chickens. This means taking steps to ensure that the chickens are not raised in stressful conditions, resulting in a more tender end product.
Springer Mountain Farms’ program is unique, as its chicks are hatched without antibiotics, steroids, or artificial additives. This year, the company launched its PLUS line, which has the same great quality of its original products, with the addition of feed that is made from 100% American-grown, Non-GMO Project Verified ingredients.
