Out with the Old, In with the New
Celebrating with a big crowd may be out, but we’ve got ideas for small intimate get-togethers. For us, New Year’s Eve is an opportunity to graze. Start with gussied up grilled oysters and splurge on caviar to ring in the new year with easy and elegant hors d’oeuvres for your whole group.

Grilled Oysters
Of course, we love oysters with nothing more than a drop of Tabasco, but in keeping with the celebratory vibes, we top them here with a nugget of garlic-parsley compound butter before they’re quickly grilled.

Butterbean Spread
The salted cooking water seasons these beans perfectly. Add a squeeze of lemon while you’re blending the spread for extra zing.

Meyer Lemon Crab Crostini
This flavorful citrus crab salad atop a rustic baguette makes for the perfect primer.

Caviar with Potato Chips and Crème Fraîche
Salty, tangy, crunchy—this high-low nibble practically begs for a sip of bubbles. It’s a great way to show off some of the stellar caviar being made in the South.
