The Appalachian – This chef-driven restaurant focuses on traditional Appalachian dishes prepared in an open hearth. Guest favorites include buffalo frog legs and chicken skins, but their rich and buttery cornbread also gets high marks from foodies.
At Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant, they’ve elevated fried dough to an artform with their famous Applewood Fritters served up with apple butter made on site. Shine Girl is Sevierville’s newest distillery. Helmed by master distiller and combat veteran Danielle Parton (who also happens to be Dolly’s niece), Shine Girl’s line of unaged whiskeys combines her families’ traditional distilling recipes with modern twists to create flavors like Red Velvet, Coconut, Lavender, and Rose’. She has also created a Vodka and an Oat Whiskey.
