1944 Mai Tai


1½ ounces pot still Jamaican rum (or a blend of your favorite rums)

¾ ounce fresh squeezed lime juice

2/3 ounce orange curacao

½ ounce almond orgeat

Garnish: fresh mint


Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain over a glass full of freshly crushed ice. Garnish with fresh mint.
